One recent holiday party had more of a personal feel when close to 30 members and guests of the Hispanic Bar Association of Northeast Florida took in a dinner party at the home of HBA President-Elect Paola Parra Harris and husband, Robert.

The annual event changes places every year and included many traditional and favorite dishes and drinks, said Parra Harris, while the setting allowed for a more intimate gathering as opposed to a mixer.

“It really is just a fun time, for us to come together and celebrate the year,” said Parra Harris. “I always enjoy it.”

It was the last gathering of the year for the group, with 2010 participating events including the Jacksonville Bar Association’s Diversity Symposium in February and its general meeting in March.
