Dick Browdy of Browdy and Browdy, a past president of the Northeast Florida Builders Association, emceed the NEFBA/Sales and Marketing Council Installations and spoke about how change has affected the industry.

“We as builders understand and appreciate change,” said Browdy. “Change is what we do. When developers purchase a piece of vacant land, they add infrastructure and then they change the raw land into a building site ready for construction. When a builder purchases a vacant lot, he changes the lot to a home where people will live for many years. In addition, he adds a source of revenue to the public tax roll. When a member of SMC has the opportunity to sell a house, he changes that property to a sold home. We are not strangers to change because change is what we do.”
