• The Joseph A. • For the first time, Jacksonville International Airport has earned the top ranking for overall customer satisfaction in the Airports Council International-North America quarterly survey of 26 airports. The competition includes Atlanta, Houston, Baltimore-Washington, Denver, Boston, San Diego and Calgary, Montreal and Toronto in Canada. The survey of airport passengers and visitors included questions about parking, security, check-in, shopping, dining and restrooms. JIA began last year ranked 8th in the survey.
• The annual Northeast Florida Association of Realtors charity bass fishing tournament is set for April 25 at the Palatka City Dock. This is the sixth annual event that raises money for Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center in Palatka. Through the catch-and-release tournament, NEFAR has raised more than $92,000 over the past five years.
