SEBC features television star

HGTV star Carter Oosterhouse will speak on “Red, Hot and Green” on Saturday, August 1 at the 31st Annual Southeast Building Conference/Green Building Show in Orlando.

After his presentation, Oosterhouse will tour the exhibit hall, sign autographs and have his photo taken with show visitors.

The SEBC exposition, featuring more than 400 exhibits, opens Thursday, July 30 at noon and remains open that day until 5 p.m. Friday’s show hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday’s are 10 a.m. to 3 pm.

Oosterhouse’s presentation is part of a comprehensive track of Green education that features more than 20 programs, including “Understanding Residential Green Home Certifications” and “What Works Best for You.”

Another seminar will feature attorneys Catherine Malloy and Eddie Wayland of the Nashville-based law firm of King & Ballow, who will lead a program entitled “Employment Law for Contractors” on Friday.

The course qualifies for two hours of CEUs (including one hour of Business Practices and one hour of Workers Compensation.)
