Jacksonville attorney Brenda Ezell has opened Ezell Law Firm and will specialize in commercial real estate and land development law.
After graduating with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Ezell began her career at Rogers Towers where she practiced in the commercial real estate department. In 2004, she joined the City of Jacksonville’s Office of General Council where she practiced real estate, land use and zoning, and local government law. In this role, she served as legal counsel to several city departments, boards and commissions as well as the city council and mayor’s office.
In 2007, Ezell returned to private practice with Edward Cohen where she continued to practice in the areas of commercial real estate and land use and zoning law, handling comprehensive plan amendments, concurrency, subdivision development and other land development matters.
She serves on the board of Commercial Real Estate Women Jacksonville and is a member of the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission.
