With new administrations settling into the offices of State Attorney and Public Defender, one local attorney wanted to provide an opportunity for the two offices to meet on a social level.

“The Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida has always been known for professionalism and collegiality among the members of its bar,” said Fagan.

It was this notion that spurred Fagan to sponsor a social hour on Feb. 20 at the Ivy Ultra Bar that featured drinks, hors d’oeuvres and live music.

State Attorney Angela Corey appreciated the gesture, but respectfully declined the invitation.
