The University of Florida won the 29th Annual Hulsey-Kimbrell Moot Court Competition Friday at the Bryan W. Simpson United States Courthouse. Pictured are retired attorney and competition cofounder Mark Hulsey, faculty representative Mary Adkins, UF competitors Vincent Galluzo and Cary Aronovitz and Bob Jerry, dean of the University of Florida Levin School of Law. For the first 20 years of the event, the school that won in the courtroom lost on the football field the next day. “But it hasn’t worked out that way for the past several years,” said Smith Hulsey & Busey shareholder Lanny Russell, who moderated the competition.
