Mayor John Peyton unveiled the 2009 “Make a Scene Downtown” Holiday Windows project Monday evening. Standing in front of the displays at City Hall, Peyton pointed out this year marks the second edition of the project that unites local artists, designers and business owners with the holiday spirit.
“Coming to see the windows is a great reason to come Downtown and it makes a great walking tour,” said Peyton, who then led a group of about 100 people to view each of the 15 displays.
The exhibits will be illuminated every night through Jan. 2 until 9 p.m., 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
