The Beaches Division of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted its 16th annual trade show Monday at the University of North Florida, with more than 60 vendors and 400 people turning out to catch up with old business partners or meet a new ones.

“It’s always been a chance for businesses to get their product out there in front of other businesses for a little face-to-face time,” said Jill Sprowell, vice president of member relations and Beaches Division executive director. “Especially in an economy like this, it’s important for businesses to get out there and network.”

While many of the businesses were of the Chamber’s Beaches Division and east of Hodges Boulevard, the event was open to the entire city and featured a wide range of businesses from chiropractic and catering services to law firms and hotels. It was the third year the show was held at UNF.
