During October, nationally recognized as Fire Safety Month, Firehouse Subs’ Public Safety Foundation is raising donations to provide funding, resources and support to deserving public safety entities.

At the Firehouse location on Normandy Boulevard, customers who donated to the cause had their names posted all over the restaurant and could also get an up-close look at fire rescue vehicles.

In the first week, Firehouse Subs has raised $64,500 for public safety entities, with donations made year-round through Firehouse Subs’ Public Safety Foundation.

In the past two years, the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has donated more than $1.75 million in equipment and resources to improve the lifesaving capabilities of emergency services in communities served by Firehouse Subs.
