Florida Supreme Court Justice Ricky Polston, left, was the guest speaker at The Jacksonville Bar Association’s monthly luncheon Thursday and he chose to honor his mentor, Florida First District Court of Appeal Judge Edwin Browning, right, who recently retired from the bench. Polston was the second of four justices appointed to the Florida Supreme Court by Gov. Charlie Crist in 2008. Browning recently retired from a law career that spanned 45 years.
