Work began Monday to construct temporary bleachers in the south end zone of Jacksonville Municipal Stadium to allow more fans to take in the Florida-Georgia game in person. The bleachers will seat 5,400 more people and is being constructed with a 19-member team from SGASI Production Services, said foreman Dave Baudier. The work will take around nine days, he said, give or take inclement weather but the progress thus far has been good. The bleachers were funded through a $269,370 approval from the Tourist Development Council for the game.
