• Speaking of the North Florida TPO meeting, in the short term, the group also lost the services of Florida Department of Transportation Dist. 2 Secretary Charles Baldwin. He sent in his letter of resignation last week and his role should be filled by the upcoming interim replacement. Baldwin and Atlantic Beach Mayor John Meserve were to be honored for their service of the organization during the meeting as well, but neither could attend.

• Follow up to Wednesday’s story on the Live Trivia Challenge: The first Ultimate Trivia Championship is now sold out. The first time tournament is tomorrow at Buffalo Wild Wings on Baymeadows and the 25 team allotment is full. Some proceeds from the event will go toward Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.

• In the current Sports Illustrated Golf issue, the top U.S. and world courses are ranked. Locally, only one course made either list. The Stadium Course came in at No. 29 domestically and at No. 50 in the world. A course in New Jersey, Pine Valley, tops both lists for the second year in a row.
