Meet the people of NEFAR

Another in a series of profiles of staff members who serve the many associations that support the real estate and construction communities in this area.

The Northeast Florida Association of Realtors was born in 1912 as the Jacksonville Association of Realtors and became NEFAR in 1996 when four boards of Realtors merged: the Jacksonville Association of Realtors, Beaches Association of Realtors, Ponte Vedra Association of Realtors, and the Clay County Association of Realtors. Two years later, the Putnam County Association of Realtors joined. NEFAR’s offices are at the entrance to Deercreek Country Club on Jacksonville’s Southside near The Avenues. NEFAR also has branches offices in Orange Park, Jacksonville Beach and Palatka. NEFAR is the largest professional trade association in this area with a membership that includes more than 6,500 Realtors and affiliates.
