Beeline, the workforce solutions business unit of MPS Group, Inc. announced this week the release of version 7.0 of its vendor management software (VMS).

Beeline 7.0 features include a new intuitive design that reduces the number of clicks needed to complete most tasks as well as a new interactive candidate comparison tool that facilitates the effective qualification and selection of candidates. User experience and application performance are also enhanced with this new version.

“Beeline’s VMS now processes over $4.8 billion in contingent spend worldwide, so it is important for us to provide our customers with a world-class system to optimize the management of their temporary labor,” said Richard White, president of Beeline. “Beeline 7.0 uses the latest technology and reflects feedback from our thousands of users to provide a tool that is simple to use and information rich.”

One company with local ties is already using the software.

“As an early adopter of Beeline 7.0, CareFirst Blue Cross & Blue Shield is already benefiting from the improved navigation found in the new user interface,” said Benjie Hanson, program manager at CareFirst. “We anticipate that the transition to the Beeline 7.0 will be extremely smooth and seamless for our existing users.”

White thinks many companies will take advantage of the advances of the Beeline software.

“Research shows that over half of all large companies have rolled out some kind of VMS system,” said White, “which proves the need for better oversight of the contingent labor process is moving into the mainstream. The release of Beeline 7.0 will improve the user experience of our current customers and open up new possibilities for companies looking to implement a state-of-the-art VMS tool. This is an exciting development for Beeline, and we look forward to showing off the latest version of our vendor management software.”
