Mayor John Peyton joined local artist Marsha Hatcher Wednesday at the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens to unveil “River City Rumble,” the 2010 official poster of the Jacksonville Jazz Festival. The four-day event set for May 27-30 includes more than 30 artists playing at six different Downtown venues. This is the seventh year the City will run the festival, which draws tens of thousands of jazz fans. Peyton called the Jazz Festival “an iconic experience worth carrying on.” There are several other events within the festival, including the Jacksonville Jazz Festival Hall of Fame induction.
