Children recently returned to start a new year of school and members of The Jacksonville Bar Association were in a similar setting when they attended an informational meeting Wednesday to prepare for the association’s 2010-11 term.

The JBA Section and Committee chairs were invited to the Jacksonville Office of Holland & Knight to discuss programing for the upcoming year and the development of a special newspaper section that will appear in the Daily Record in September. It will outline the various sections and committees and provide members with a reference guide to The JBA.

“I understand how busy schedules can be and I appreciate the time and effort that you are giving to The JBA to lead our various sections and committees,” said JBA President Courtney Grimm, “

The difference between a section and committee is that a section is focused on a particular practice of law and a committee is created to promote or organize a service or activity of The JBA.
