• St. Johns Riverkeeper Neil Armingeon will be recognized Dec. 10 by the Grimes Foundation and the Duval Audubon Society at The Civic Round Table of Jacksonville awards luncheon. He will be honored for his environmental accomplishments.

• Speaking of the river, a specialty license plate dedicated to the St. Johns River will be available for purchase at local tax collector’s offices in early December. They cost $25 a year above the the standard Florida license plate. The nonprofit St. Johns River Alliance Inc. will receive funding from the proceeds and will administer grants to other qualifying organizations.

• The Flagler real estate company announced that Jacksonville-based Black Diamond Performance Reporting signed a five-year lease for a 20,540-square-foot headquarters office at the Deerwood South business park. Flagler’s Senior Director of Leasing Ross Carrier represented Flagler in the transaction. Lou Nutter, senior vice president of CB Richard Ellis, represented Black Diamond. Black Diamond will relocate from its office along Sutton Park Drive South off Hodges Boulevard.

• If Deerwood South sounds familiar, it’s because Flagler has been busy there. Black Diamond Performance Reporting is Flagler’s third major lease signed at Deerwood South in 2010. The other two leases were with Adecco Group North America and Fortegra Financial. Both are relocating from Downtown.

• Jacksonville-based FIS, which provides banking and payments technology, has completed a new 10-year agreement with Banco Bradesco in Brazil and the company’s card processing joint venture, Fidelity Processadora e Servicos S.A. Under the terms of the agreement, FPS will process and support Banco Bradesco’s private label, Visa and MasterCard portfolios through 2020. FPS is the leading third-party card processor in Brazil and supports more than 40 million card accounts in Brazil.

• Speaking of FIS, it will host an equity investor meeting at 1 p.m. Monday at the New York Stock Exchange. Key members of FIS’ executive leadership will discuss the company’s strategic, operational and financial goals. The meeting will be Webcast simultaneously through a link on the company’s website at www.fisglobal.com. An archive of the event will be available on the FIS website about an hour after the conclusion of the event.
