• Jason Campbell has joined the Fowler White Boggs Business Transactions and Corporate Law Practice Group. Before joining Fowler White Boggs, Campbell was a partner with McGuireWoods. He received his B.A. from the University of Virginia and his J.D. from the Florida State University College of Law.

• The Florida Supreme Court Judicial Nominating Commission sent the names of three nominees to the Attorney General for the position of Statewide Prosecutor. They are Nicholas Bernard Cox, Tampa, regional director of the Department of Children & Families; Haccord J. Curry Jr., Fort Lauderdale, assistant general counsel, Florida Department of Juvenile Justice; and Andrew S. Hague, Miami, county judge. The commission includes Vice Chair Howard C. Coker, a past president of both The Jacksonville Bar Association and The Florida Bar.

• The City Office of General Counsel appointed J. Timothy Horkan as an assistant general counsel in the government operations department and Craig D. Feiser as an assistant general counsel in the general litigation department.

• Public Defender Matt Shirk announced two attorneys have joined the staff and a legal assistant was promoted. Katy A. Harris became assistant public defender in the felony court unit, having served two years as assistant general counsel for the Jacksonville Fraternal Order of Police. Brian Crick was appointed as an assistant public defender in the county court unit and was formerly with a private law firm. Randa Youngblood was promoted to the administrative offices as staff assistant.
