Jacksonville Jaguars owner Wayne Weaver, Team Teal Commissioner Tony Boselli, Jacksonville Bar Association President Dan Bean, attorney Wayne Hogan and Bailey Publishing & Communications President Jim Bailey all addressed about 40 members of the legal community Thursday night.
The gathering was another facet of the Team Teal drive to sell season tickets and assure the Jaguars stay in Jacksonville. Boselli heads the group that includes former Florida Times-Union publisher Carl Cannon and dozens of area business and civic leaders.
Each spoke to the group about the effects the team has on the business and legal community as well as the community in general.
Weaver talked about the different opportunities available to support the team and reaffirmed his stance regarding the rumors of the team moving to Los Angeles.
“(Los Angeles businessman Ed) Roske is going to have to build a stadium and find a team, because he’s not going to find one here,” said Weaver.
