Lining up to pay tribute

Thousands of people celebrated their Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday by bringing their families Downtown for the annual parade which honors the life and legacy of the civil rights leader. Marching bands, drill teams, dance squads, car and motorcycle clubs and even the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus were represented in the procession. It took more than two hours for the parade to wind its way along Water and Bay streets from the Federal Reserve Bank to the Sports Complex.
