• The Hispanic Heritage Night at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville Wednesday will feature an appearance by Tony Perez who was a member of the Cincinnati Reds “Big Red Machine.”

• A new law firm will sponsor the Jacksonville Suns Hispanic Heritage Night Wednesday. The Camerlengo & Gonzalez Law Group opened for business July 1 and is the combination of the Camerlengo Law Group of Joe Camerlengo and Greg Anderson, and Gonzalez & Deli, consisting of Elizabeth Gonzalez and Adam Deli.

• The Main Street America Group enhanced its surety transaction system, Main Street Station for Bonds, to allow independent insurance agents to offer law firm clients a way to generate probate and court bonds quickly from their desktop. Independent agents access the system through Main Street America’s website and enter data, and the system rates and underwrites the bond and, in most cases, allows the agent to immediately execute it. Main Street America says that since the system was launched in January 2008, it has generated nearly 19,200 bonds.
