Wellington Companies, the parent company of Wellington Homes and Wellington Remodeling, is celebrating its one-year anniversary with a major business expansion and positive sales numbers. With forecasted revenues of more than $3.5 million for 2010, the company has opened a new franchise operation - Rainbow International Restoration and Cleaning of Jacksonville - that will serve Northeast Florida with fire, smoke, water and mold restoration services as well as home and commercial cleaning services.

“We finished our first fiscal year at Wellington Companies in the black and believe that opening the area’s first and only Rainbow International franchise will make us a multi-faceted company able to serve homeowners and homebuyers with nearly every service needed,” said J. Rick Dalton, co-founder and CEO of Wellington Companies, which is a licensed general contractor. “We started Wellington Companies in a tough financial and economic climate but have succeeded because of our experience, one-on-one professional services and customer recommendations. We look forward to another successful year with the addition of Rainbow International to our list of services.”

Since opening in 2009, Wellington Homes has contracted eight new single-family home sales and Wellington Remodeling has completed 10 renovation projects, the majority in the St. Augustine communities of MuraBella, Palencia and World Golf Village.

Dalton’s goal is to sell 25 homes during the next fiscal year and expand Rainbow International Restoration and Cleaning of Jacksonville.
