• The paw prints are returning Downtown. On Aug. 21, the Downtown Council of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce plans its 16th annual painting of the Jaguar Paw Prints down Bay Street from the core of Downtown to Jacksonville Municipal Stadium for the kickoff of the Jacksonville Jaguars season. The two-hour paint job starts at 8 a.m. Rain date is Aug. 28. Interested? Call Bonnie Arnold at 346-3300.

• The Greater Jacksonville Agriculture Fair returns Nov. 3-14. The Ghirardelli Chocolate Co. “chocolate championship” will be 7 p.m. Nov. 11. The company is looking for “your most decadent chocolate recipe” for a dessert or treat. There are cash prizes along with Ghirardelli gift baskets.

• Donald Horner, director of the Davis Leadership Center at the JU Davis College of Business Davis, will keynote the August NAIOP lunch. It’s Aug. 26 at the Jacksonville Marriott Southpoint. Info: www.naiopnefl.com.

• Don’t head for Hooters at the Landing for lunch or dinner the next few days. The riverfront restaurant is closed for remodeling, including new flooring. It should re-open Friday.

• All Jacksonville Public Library branch locations will be closed on Sundays, effective this week. The South Mandarin, Webb, Highlands and Beaches branches will no longer be open on Sundays. Only the Main Library will continue to be open on Sundays.

• Correction: Mary Scott, former president of the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association, is with Rumrell, Costabel, Warrington & Brock. A story in Monday’s Daily Record referred to her former firm.
