First Guaranty Bank recently held its third annual art and antiques show benefiting Patrons of the Hearts, a nonprofit organization that supports children suffering from heart disease.
The exhibit featured the work of six area artists, all clients of the bank, at First Guaranty’s main office on King Street in Riverside. Five percent of proceeds from sales went to the charity and were matched by First Guaranty Bank.
“As a hometown bank committed to strengthening relationships in our community, we are excited to partner again with some very talented local artists to benefit this worthwhile charity,” said First Guaranty Bank President Don Roberts.
Art from the show will remain on display and is available for sale at the bank’s King Street location, including paintings by local artists Leigh Murphy, John Bunker and Kathy Stark. Proceeds from future sales will be matched by the bank and given to Patrons of the Hearts.
