Stately concrete arriving for courthouse

The first phase of construction of the new Duval County Courthouse involved hundreds of cement trucks delivering thousands of cubic yards of concrete to the job site. Those vehicles have been replaced by an equally frequent number of flatbed trucks delivering precast concrete components for the facade. As shown above, some of the more decorative sections are arriving to be installed. The project remains on schedule to open in June 2012.
