New members of the legal community were welcomed to the profession by The Jacksonville Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section recently with a reception at Dos Gatos Downtown.

Twenty-two new attorneys were sworn in recently at the Bryan Simpson U.S. Courthouse and they were invited to a reception to mingle with members of the Jacksonville Bar Association and business community.

The reception was sponsored by CED Investigative Technologies. CED is a forensic engineering and accident reconstruction company providing litigation support and expertise for law firms, insurance companies and manufacturers. Initially formed as a group of U. S. Naval Academy professors, CED Technologies has grown to more than 30 employees and six locations nationwide, including Jacksonville.

“It’s a great way to introduce our company to lawyers who are at the beginning of their careers and let them know about the services that we provide,” said Pete McCawley, CED Director of Business Development-Southern Region.
