The Marriott at Sawgrass used two pontoon boats to transport guests, both those staying at the hotel and those parking there for the day, from its back deck to the 13th hole of the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass Saturday. The hotel offered the option for those looking for parking during The Players Championship. For $30, guests could have their car parked by valet and then be ferried to the golf course. Hotel General Manager Jeff Mayer estimated that the boats made between 20 to 30 trips an hour and could carry up to 10 passengers.
