• Two Jacksonville nursing executives, Diane Raines and Carolyn Johnson, were honored as the 2010 University of Florida College of Nursing alumni of the year. Raines is the senior vice president and chief nursing officer for Baptist Health and Johnson is the vice president of patient care services for Wolfson Children’s Hospital, part of the Baptist Health System. Raines received her master’s degree in nursing from UF in 1983 and Johnson received her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 1972 and master’s degree in nursing from UF in 1979.

• Fidelity National Information Services said Tuesday that discussions ended regarding a potential buyout of the financial technology company. FIS said it would pursue a leveraged recapitalization and stock repurchase.

• BAE Systems said Tuesday it agreed to buy Atlantic Marine Holding Company for $352 million from JFL-AMH Partners LLC, part of the J.F. Lehman & Company private equity firm. The acquisition includes Atlantic Marine shipyards in Mayport and Jacksonville as well as in Moss Point, Miss., and Mobile, Ala. Atlantic Marine’s 1,000 employees will become part of BAE’s Ship Repair business. The deal does not include Atlantic Marine’s Boston and Philadelphia operations.

• The investiture of Circuit Court Judge Thomas Beverly is at 4 p.m. today in courtroom four of the Duval County Courthouse.
