MOCA’s Lab Gallery in the museum store is currently featuring paintings by young people who are participating in the City Kids Art Factory, part of an initiative headquartered at Eighth Street and Myrtle Avenue in the Durkeeville neighborhood. The nonprofit organization exposes inner city youth to fine art with a hands-on approach, the results of which are on exhibit in the gallery.

Also on display is a collection by local artist Adrian Pickett, who also has a gallery at the Landing.

All of the paintings and drawings are for sale with a portion of the proceeds to support museum programs and the remainder going to the artists.
