Federal Bar welcomes new officers, hosts special agents: Mans new chapter president

The Jacksonville Chapter of the Federal Bar Association had a full plate at its October luncheon at the Main Library.

It hosted the swearing-in of new officers and a presentation on the role of polygraph examinations provided by U.S. Secret Service Agents Craig Hutzell and Jeff Rohrer.

U.S. District Judge Marcia Morales Howard swore in President Lori Mans of Constangy, Brooks & Smith, President-elect Patricia Barksdale of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Vice President - Membership Michael Fackler of Milam Howard, Vice President - Programs Carol Mirando of the City of Jacksonville Office of General Counsel, Secretary Susan Weisman of the U.S. District Court, and Treasurer Michael Abel of Holland & Knight.

Immediate past President David Reeves of Moseley Pritchard was recognized for his contributions to the association and presented a plaque.

The chapter will celebrate its 40th year in 2011.
