Friendship and rivalry were renewed Monday as part of the 46th Annual Meninak/Rotary Golf Tournament at Timuquana Country Club. The annual battle between the two long-standing civic organizations featured a little friendly banter during the joint meeting that featured Ch. 12 Sports Director Dan Hicken (middle) as keynote speaker. Both Kent Lindsey (left), Meninak Club of Jacksonville president, and Cindy Stover (right), Rotary Club of Jacksonville president, traded lighthearted barbs toward the opposing organization before 40 members hit the links for bragging rights and $1,000 toward the charity of the winner’s choosing. Rotary won.
