Executives and employees of Mercedes-Benz USA welcomed Jacksonville business leaders Wednesday to the grand opening of the new 415,000-square-foot Southern Region facility near Jacksonville International Airport. From left, Kevin Sreenan, regional manager for the Southern Region of Mercedes-Benz USA, Jack Webb, Jacksonville City Council president. and Ernst Lieb, president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA, participated in the official ribbon-cutting. Four business units are located at the facility: the sales operation’s Southern regional office, a parts distribution center, the quality evaluation center and the learning performance center. “When we send people here to go to school and they see what we have now to what we had, there is a lot of excitement about the new facility,” said Allen Majewski, general manager of Brumos Motor Cars, after touring the facility Wednesday.
