• Brunet-García Advertising promoted Aerien Kloske to senior art director. Kloske has been with the agency for three years. She has helped shape brands, campaigns and digital projects for clients that include Jacksonville Country Day School, Florida SHOTS, the Florida Department of Transportation, Vistakon, Shands and the Jacksonville Public Library.

• WJCT Public Broadcasting named new officers for its board of trustees for the fiscal year starting Friday. John Hirabayashi is chair, David Shacter is chair-elect and L. Craig Merritt serves as treasurer. New members include Elizabeth Cline, Jorge García, Danielle Payne and Terry West.

• The Haskell Company was ranked the No. 1 Green Industrial & Manufacturing Design Firm and the No. 1 Green Manufacturing & Industrial Contractor for the third consecutive year by “Engineering News-Record” magazine.

• The National College Fair of Jacksonville is scheduled 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 16 at the Osborn Center Downtown. Admission is free, parking is $5 per vehicle. It’s sponsored by the National Association for College Admission Counseling and will feature more than 150 colleges and universities from across the country.
