• Gov. Rick Scott and Enterprise Florida CEO Gray Swoope come to town tomorrow for a Cornerstone Regional Economic Development Forum 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the University of North Florida. It’s a Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce event and will also feature Workforce Florida CEO Chris Hart. Scott also is scheduled to attend the 3rd annual Tax Day Tea Party Rally tomorrow evening at the Landing. Scott also is expected at mayoral candidate Mike Hogan’s headquarters tomorrow afternoon.

• Speaking of the chamber, it will host the 2011 Business Expo from 4-7 p.m. June 1 at the Hyatt Downtown, including a 5-7 p.m. Business After Hours event with the chamber councils. The expo also is an official stop on the June 1 Art Walk. Information: www.opportunityjacksonville.com.

• Phil Mickelson has committed to The Players Championship. The 2007 Players champion will be making his eighth consecutive appearance at The Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass and the 18th of his career. The golf tournament is May 9-15.

• A time-warp prom is scheduled June 11 by the JCCI Forward young professionals. “Tacky attire is not only welcome, but encouraged!” says the invitation. It’s JCCI Forward’s 10th anniversary. Come dressed for a prom from the past. It’s at The Hall at 1100 Stockton St. Information: www.jcci.org.
