New lawyers sworn in

The Bryan Simpson U.S. Courthouse hosted the swearing-in ceremony for about 25 of the newest members of The Florida Bar Thursday. U.S. District Judge Timothy Corrigan presided over the ceremony and administered the oath. The new lawyers were welcomed to the legal community by The Jacksonville Bar Association President-elect Mike Freed, The JBA Young Lawyers Section President Lee Wedekind and Florida Coastal School of Law Dean Peter Goplerud. Swearing-in ceremonies alternate between the federal courthouse and the Duval County Courthouse.
