• Bruce Grob was named executive director of the North Florida Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Grob has been involved in nonprofit management and fund development for more than 25 years. For the past five years, he has been responsible for implementing an HIV and AIDS prevention and education program in South Africa. In North Florida, Komen supports Duval, Nassau, St. Johns, Baker and Clay counties.

• Baptist Health Foundation appointed five members to its board of trustees: Mike Diaz, Michael Grebe, William L Green, Arthur J. Lee and John H. Williams Jr. Diaz is COO for Black Diamond. Grebe is chair and CEO of Interline Brands. Green retired from a 35-year career in international marketing for Sherwood Medical Industries. Lee founded Lee Wesley Inc. Williams is vice chair of Stein Mart Inc.

• Jacksonville-based Firehouse Subs reached the No. 1 spot on this year’s Top 100 Movers & Shakers List. Fast Casual’s Top Movers & Shakers is the list of 100 strongest fast casual segment chains. FastCasual.com tracks the restaurant industry.

• The Jacksonville Historic Preservation Commission will honor 17 projects and services at its annual ceremony to celebrate National Preservation Month. The event is 6 p.m. Thursday at the Main Library. The awards recognize outstanding projects and services that promote historic preservation in the Jacksonville area. Award categories include: Heritage Education, Residential Rehabilitation and Preservation Projects and Services. 

• Correction: The Harris Guidi holiday party was held in December. A cutline on a photo of Ed Austin Monday stated the wrong month.
