The big, white tent returned Thursday evening to the parking lot of the law firm of Harris Guidi Rosner Dunlap Rudolph to welcome guests and the holiday season.

The annual event has been held for more than 25 years and typically attracts more than 1,000 guests. The event was created to thank clients and colleagues of the Jacksonville-based law firm along Hendricks Avenue in San Marco.

It has become one of the larger social events of the holiday season, involving elected officials, judges, lawyers and business leaders who stop by for conversation, barbecue and seafood.

Some of the visitors, wearing tuxes or gowns, stopped by on their way to the Opening Night Party of the Art & Antiques Show at the Osborn Center.
