• Former Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow, now with the Denver Broncos, announced Monday that he has appointed Erik Dellenback as the executive director of the Tim Tebow Foundation, created in January 2010 to support charities worldwide in an effort to raise awareness and make a difference in the lives of those needing a brighter day. Dellenback is the first executive director hired and previously served 11 years at the Gator Bowl Association, most recently as the vice president and chief marketing officer.

• Jacksonville Jaguars head athletic trainer and physical therapist Mike Ryan has re-launched his website, www.mikeryanfitness.com, as he also takes steps to expand into corporate consulting about health and fitness. He asks folks to become a fan on Facebook, to tweet about the new site, link to the site from websites and blogs and tell friends. Ryan has been with the Jaguars since 1994 before the team took the field for the first time in 1995.

• Barry Milligan, the “Voice of the JU Dolphins,” has joined SMG as sales and marketing manager. He will be responsible for driving revenue through sponsorships, suites and premium seating for all facilities managed by SMG in Jacksonville. He comes to SMG from Jacksonville University, where he was the assistant athletic director for five years. Milligan will continue as the play-by-play radio announcer through the end of the current basketball season.

• The Jacksonville Urban League and community partners scheduled a forum for mayoral candidates, “Facing the Reality of Race Relations in Jacksonville.” It will be 6-8 p.m. Feb. 28 at the LaVilla School of the Arts. For information, call 366-3461.
