The “mod” is down, leaving just “is” on the north face of the Modis Building Downtown. When “is” is removed, the letters will then come off the south face, which is still “Modis” and lit at night. Adecco Group North America, which bought temporary staffing company MPS Group in January 2010, will start moving its 400 employees in the building to the Southside starting March 4. Modis is a subsidiary of MPS. The bulk of the move will be March 18 when most of the staff will relocate to Deerwood South to be up and running by March 21. Adecco leases five floors in the 37-story Downtown tower for its corporate offices and parts of the first and second floors for its retail offices that work with clients. Its lease expires there March 31.
