The Clay County Bar Association recently elected new officers for 2011. They were sworn in Jan. 28 by County Judge Richard Townsend.

Officers are:
• President: David A. King, Attorney at Law
• Vice president: John Fagan, P.A.
• Treasurer: Steven B. Whittington, Whittington & Culbert, P.A.
• Secretary: Alison E. Hickman, Attorney at Law
