Mayor John Peyton hosted the first-quarter service pin ceremony at his office Wednesday, welcoming employees with at least 25 years of service. Those attending the ceremony included Clerk of Court employees Wilhemenia Rutledge, who received a 30-year pin; Lorainne Thomas, who received a 25-year pin; and Rena Tolbert, who also received a 25-year pin. Elizabeth Smith, not pictured, also received a 25-year charm. “You are valuable to this City, not only because of your many years of quality service, but also because you save us the cost of continually training new employees. I thank you,” said Peyton.
