The Jacksonville Bar Association continued its support of professionalism in the Fourth Judicial Circuit by offering the legal community an opportunity to talk with Circuit Civil judicial assistants Thursday.
More than 100 people attended the event, including eight judicial assistants, to discuss professionalism, administrative orders, judges, calendars, procedures specific to each judge, setting hearings and the requirements of formulating orders.
It was the second lunch with judicial assistants. The idea was first discussed at a JBA Sidebar Luncheon with area judges.
The event was also a continuing legal education program for paralegals and legal assistants.
