• Robert Joseph Dill and James R. Usery were named associates at the Ansbacher & Ansbacher law firm, which specializes in associations, real estate and construction law. Dill will work in the areas of construction law, creditor rights and civil litigation. Usery will focus on real estate law and community associations.

• Referring to Gov. Rick Scott’s Jacksonville visit Monday for an “economic development meeting,” Mayor John Peyton spokeswoman Misty Skipper said that attracting jobs is one of Peyton’s top priorities. “He appreciates any opportunity he gets to talk to an organization about its potential for relocation or expansion in Jacksonville. He also appreciates Governor Scott’s support for job growth in Jacksonville.”

• Landing partner Toney Sleiman said Wednesday he was out of town and did not attend the City Council meeting Tuesday. At that meeting, the council declined to override Mayor John Peyton’s veto of legislation that would have allowed the Landing to purchase from the City a parking lot at Hogan and Bay streets. Sleiman said he would withhold comment until he had the opportunity to review a letter from Peyton concerning the matter.

• According to Ray Rodriguez at the Real Estate Strategy Center, Gordon Keith Watson and Carol K. Watson sold their 10,241-square-foot house at 893 Ponte Vedra Blvd. for $6.2 million. Rodriguez said it’s the first sale of more than $4 million in Ponte Vedra since December 2008. The buyer is 893 Ponte Vedra Boulevard Trust.

• The joint Pediatric Cancer Program of Nemours Children’s Clinic and Wolfson Children’s Hospital received the “Outstanding Achievement Award” from the American College of Surgeons. It is the only one in Florida, and one of only two in the United States, to receive the award out of 11 ACS-approved pediatric cancer centers nationwide.

• Update to Wolfson Children’s Hospital President Michael Aubin’s presentation to Meninak on Monday. The hospital reported Wednesday that it has 180 beds in the hospital and 14 in the Baptist South Newborn Intensive Care Unit, totaling 194 beds. The total will be 213 when the new tower is finished, 199 in the new tower and Wolfson Children’s Hospital and the 14 at Baptist South.

• The Toyota Farm to Table Tour will be at the Riverside Arts Market 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday to showcase the local culinary scene and the connection between farmers markets and the communities they serve. Ten chefs will be paired with farmers to prepare the market’s fresh local produce and products. • A new venue, the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, will welcome a band familiar to Central and North Florida Friday night. Gainesville’s Sister Hazel will play the hall with room for about 1,400 people at 1050 Florida A1A N. in Ponte Vedra Beach.

• The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall also will be the site for a visit with Diane Rehm, host of The Diane Rehm Show distributed to NPR stations. A reception and conversation with Rehm is scheduled at 5:30 p.m. March 24 at the hall and a lunch is scheduled the next day at WJCT 89.9 Studios at noon. Ticket to each are $75. • City Council member Michael Corrigan has introduced an ordinance to rename McGirts Creek Park at 8435 118th St. as “Lew Brantley Park” to honor the former president of the Florida Senate.
