Cole was recognized for her dedication in assuring children are always on the agenda and in the hearts of the community. Also, the “R. David and I. Lorraine Thomas Child Advocate of the Year Award” was presented to The Chartrand Foundation, the “Corporate Citizen of the Year Award” was presented to Panera Bread, “Parents of the Year” are Elaise and Berlyn Reese, and the “Volunteer of the Year Award” was presented to Christian Women’s Fellowship, Esther Group, at First Christian Church Disciples of Christ.
