Former Jacksonville Jaguars middle linebacker Tom McManus shared motivational messages Wednesday with Beauclerc Elementary School safety patrol students visiting the Southside Business Men’s Club, which sponsors the Youth Achiever Program. McManus, who played with the team from 1995-1999, hosts the “Tom McManus Uncensored” sports talk radio show on 930 The Fox 6-9 a.m. weekdays. He’s also an author, speaker and production company executive. “My life is a life’s lesson,” he said. “I believe you can do anything you want to do.” McManus told the 40 students, along with parents, school officials and club members, “don’t ever give up.” He also advised the students and adults to “hold yourself accountable.”
