About 50 commercial real estate brokers and leasing agents participated in Thursday’s NAIOP bus tour of properties.

Their first stop Downtown was the Museum of Contemporary Art, where Downtown Vision Inc. Executive Director Terry Lorince gave a short presentation.

Each real estate professional received an information package, including safety statistics, an overview of the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission’s Downtown Action Plan, a copy of DVI’s latest annual report and the organization’s publication, “Turning the Corner, Rethinking and Remaking Downtown.”

“We chose MOCA for this presentation because it represents the Downtown product so well. When brokers and leasing agents are showing a property, they’re not just showing office space, they’re showing what Downtown has to offer. It’s a neighborhood,” said Lorince.
