• Bill and Kim Prescott scheduled their fourth “Dine with Us Downtown” and invite supporters to make reservations to join them. Prescott, the Jacksonville Jaguars CFO, said he and Kim have reservations at 7 p.m. Nov. 17 at The Wine Cellar on the Downtown Southbank and he asks people to book their RSVPs between 5:30-10 p.m. Their goal is 100 diners.
• The Murphy & Anderson law firm is renovating space at a building its partners bought in San Marco. The Weaver Construction Group Inc. will make additions and repairs to the two-story building at 1501 San Marco Blvd. A City-issued building permit indicates a $600,000 project cost for 7,384 square feet of space. The project owner is 1501 San Marco Blvd. LLC. The firm will move from the Bank of America Tower.
• The City approved a permit for remodeling at Carrabba’s Italian Grill in the Regency area. The Register Co. of Jacksonville will handle the $99,750 project at 9840 Atlantic Blvd. The permit shows a remodeling area of 6,848 square feet.
• Applications are being accepted for two openings on the Fourth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Lawyers must be practicing law and a resident of the jurisdiction. • The Florida Bar board of governors is seeking applicants for two vacancies for The Florida Bar Foundation board of directors.
