• A research project inspired by “The 904,” a documentary produced by WJCT host Melissa Ross, will be revealed 6-8 p.m. Nov. 29 at the University of North Florida Student Union Ballroom. Graduate criminology students researched the statistics. Data and a media audit will be discussed at the town hall event. UNF President John Delaney will provide opening remarks, followed by a panel discussion.

• Morris Publishing Group LLC reported a third-quarter net loss of $571,000, according to its quarterly report filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Revenue fell 8 percent to $55 million. Augusta, Ga.-based Morris is the publisher of The Florida Times-Union, The St. Augustine Record and 11 other daily newspapers.

• Walt Bussells, Shawn Hiester and Taylor Smith formed the Government Services Partnership Institute in Jacksonville to serve as “a connection point for the exchange of public-private partnership intelligence, resources and best practices.” Hiester and Smith are the managing partners. Bussells was CEO of JEA, among other roles. Hiester founded Facility Contract Services and also was a project director at Jacksonville-based Haskell. Smith, a principal with Facility Contract Services, also was a director of public-private development projects with Haskell. Visit www.govpartnership.com.

• Kelly Clarkson announces a Jacksonville stop on her “Stronger Tour 2012.” Clarkson is scheduled to perform Feb. 2 at the Times-Union Center Moran Theater. The tour kicks off Jan. 13 in Mashantucket, Conn. Ticket sales start at noon Friday. For information, visit www.kellyclarkson.com.
