While Hemming Plaza will be buzzing Wednesday evening for the annual Hispanic Heritage First Wednesday Art Walk, a few blocks away, high above the street, a group of local, national and international artists will host an exhibition at AT&T Tower.

The location is painter Christina Foard’s studio on the 23rd floor of the building. The exhibit is titled “CITYscape 2011” and it’s billed as “one big view, one big space, one big exhibition, one big night.”

Foard has assembled a collection of paintings, photography and sculpture representing the work of 23 artists.

“For some of the artists, it’s their first exhibition. For others it’s their 50th,” said Foard.

It’s also a way to showcase the Downtown landmark office building and its panoramic views of the Northbank and Southbank, she said.

First Wednesday Art Walk and CITYscape 2011 are from 5-9 p.m., rain or shine. There’s no admission charge and parking at meters on the street is free after 6 p.m.
